Issaquah Highlands Self-Storage Building

We recently finished a new self storage building in Issaquah located at 910 NE High Street. The building stands 6-stories (68,700 S.F.) and contains a leasing office, hundreds of storage spaces of various sizes, and a separate retail space on the ground floor. The building was fitted onto a narrow site that is roughly 50ft. x 250ft. The nature of this site lead to some creative design solutions, such as a cantilever along the street side, that was necessary to fit everything into the building that was desired. To date this is the tallest building that we have designed here at Magellan Architects!

The general contractor for this project was Foushee and Associates and the architectural design for the most part was a collaborative effort from multiple people at our firm. Below is a couple of pictures showing the erection of some large concrete tilt up panels.

PSE Factoria: Complete!

Our project for Puget Sound Energy’s Factoria Service Center was completed in October. This was a 32,000 s.f. new office building and renovation of an existing warehouse facility. We are on track to receive LEED Gold certification under LEED v2.2. This is the largest project complete to date by Magellan Architects, so this is a proud moment for our design team!
