Magellan Crew tackles Multifamily Housing

On the first real spring day, a crew of 5 Magellan employees and friends joined with Habitat for Humanity East King County to work on their ambitious Issaquah Highlands project. The building –  a duplex with stellar views of downtown Seattle and the Olympic Peninsula is in the process of installing exterior sheathing. Windows had just been installed and interior work is slated to commence soon. We worked on window trim and corner trim (and our tans!).

Our crew worked alongside other volunteers from around the community as well as a team of full time Americorps participants. We worked mainly with Liz, a full time Habitat EKC employee who was fun, upbeat, and knowledgeable about the projects.

What a great way to kick off the summer of DIY!

What a beautiful day!
