Juan joined Magellan in in the summer of 2008. Juan, his wife Anna, and daughter Maia moved to Washington 3 years ago after living in Savannah, GA for 10 years. Juan hails from the south, as he was born in Miami and raised in Brownsville, TX. He attended Savannah College of Art & Design where he became the first person from his family to earn a college degree.

Juan loves to play any type of competitive sports, as we have all learned first hand in our Magellan Soccer tournaments, pickle ball matches, and Biggest Loser Competition. This summer, Juan and Anna welcomed their second child, a baby boy, Cristian, to their family.
Throughout his career, Juan has worked on projects in several states and countries, including Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, Texas, Washington, Oregon, Utah, California, Minnesota, and Mexico. At Magellan he is working on Construction Administration for Eastridge Christian Assembly church in Sammamish, Design for Bicycle Adventures and Opal House Chapel – a pro-bono project Magellan has designed for a small worship space in Guatemala.
